Dr. Halyna Kravchenkova is a sociologist and communication researcher with over 20 years of experience in applied sociological research and monitoring & evaluation. She is currently undertaking a BNF Research Fellowship exploring the govenance of Artificial Intelligence in Social Impact Organisations.

Previously, Dr. Kravchenkova worked as a Research Fellow at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and as an Associate Professor at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine). She also has extensive experience as a Senior Trainer for international projects, including UNDP initiatives in Kazakhstan. Her multidisciplinary background includes sociology, project evaluation, and data-driven communication strategies, with a focus on mixed-methods approaches, institutional trust, and communication in crisis contexts.
