We are pleased to welcome Maria Couto Teixeira as a student assistant to our team. She is a Master’s student in Psychology at the University of Fribourg, also enrolled in the Digital Society minor, currently completing her degree.

Maria Couto Teixeira joins Human-IST to support Prof. Jobin's research group, working under the supervision of Dr. Marisa Tschopp, a senior researcher in the SNSF-funded project "Performing Artificial Intelligence: Governance, Agency, Action–An Interdisciplinary Inquiry". She is working on exploring synthetic relationships, focusing particularly on qualitative data analysis conducted both with and without AI, examining the associated promises and potential pitfalls.

We look forward to collaborating with her on this important area of research.
